Waxing, i.e. hair removal with wax, is our discipline. With absolute premium quality wax, we conjure up your hair so perfectly that you will never want anything else. And by using oil between the skin and wax, the whole thing is also very pain-reduced. Fear is no longer an excuse to be hair-free in the desired parts of the body. Due to the special properties of our waxes, hair on certain parts of the body can be removed from a length of 1 mm (especially in the genital area and armpits). However, we recommend 3-4 mm because due to the different growth at 1 mm, not all hair is on the surface. A good rule of thumb is to shave the last time about 10 days before waxing. In the genital area and armpits, a week is usually sufficient.
Depending on the type of skin and hair, the skin remains smooth and velvety for about three to six weeks. However, the result lasts longer with every waxing. Shaving your hair again usually means a step backwards regarding this effect.
Basically, we dare to say that you don't have to be afraid of waxing with us. We work with a layer of oil between the wax and the skin so that the wax only grips and takes the hair with it. Thus, the skin is spared and the pain is greatly reduced. Since the perception of pain is very subjective, everyone naturally perceives it differently. But you will be pleasantly surprised how bearable waxing can be. And the result is rewarding in any case.
With regular use, the hair grows less dense and becomes finer. However, shaving negates this effect, since the hair is cut off bluntly.
Regular peeling helps very effectively against ingrown hair because it removes impurities and dead skin particles. So, nothing stands in the way of the hair, and they can grow unhindered. There are also special products like ingrown sprays, pastes or creams for this problem. We will, of course, be happy to advise you on the selection in our studio.
Under normal circumstances, there is nothing to be said against waxing during pregnancy.
Just use a fresh tampon before waxing, and you can get waxed easily.
If the skin is red, irritated or injured, waxing should be avoided until it has regenerated. We will provide you with comprehensive personal information about all obstacles and risks during your visit.
We only use shellac, which protects and strengthens the natural nail. Our paints contain no acids or harmful substances. Therefore, we can clearly answer this question with “No”.
No clear statement can be made about this, since it depends on many factors. The durability of normal lacquer is significantly shorter than that of shellac. Shellac lasts two to four weeks under normal circumstances. Sometimes even longer, provided there is no mechanical impact (e.g. through physical work, etc.).
You can easily remove normal varnish as usual, even with ordinary nail polish remover. Shellac should definitely be removed professionally by us, as there is a risk that you will break your nails. And the process is a bit more extensive than with normal paint, since different steps in the exact order are necessary.
Medical peels are generally suitable for all skin types. They are ideal for skin with acne, older or flaccid skin for wrinkle reduction, for sun-damaged skin and cuperose. In the case of pigment disorders, a medical peeling can only help in minor cases. Older or more severe disorders can only be reduced with laser treatments or clinical peelings.
Basically, medical peels and microdermabrasion do not cause pain. The peels are used professionally and can cause a slight burning sensation due to the increased proportion of acids. Microdermabrasion is not painful, but can be a little uncomfortable if mechanical impact. But the saying "If you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer." has not applied to us for a long time.
We recommend medical peels and microdermabrasion, mainly in autumn and winter. These treatments weaken the skin's protective shield immediately after the treatment, which means that strong sun would particularly attack it. This is unlikely to occur during the recommended seasons.
After a medical peeling or microdermabrasion, the skin becomes thinner and more sensitive, which means that strong sun protection (50+) is absolutely necessary for up to two weeks after the treatment. The skin is slightly red on average for a day immediately after the treatment. In the case of particularly sensitive skin, the reddening can last a maximum of three to four days. During this time, sports, sauna, solarium and the like should be avoided.
